I had been abroad many times as I was growing up for extended periods of time with family, but I received a greater worldly education doing an inital 3 months and then another 3 months at a language school. It wasn't just going to the language school, but also meeting people from other countries, and I learned more than I thought I would have, and I'm anxiously waiting to go again. It was the turning point in my life. I studied abroad for 6 months.
